Protection against intermixing
The double-wall heat exchanger is designed for applications where
a hostile reaction can occur if the two media mix, or when product contamination must be avoided.
Replaces single plate Normally, double plates replace the single plate that separates the two media from each other.
Sealed by gaskets Conventional gaskets seal the channels formed by the double plates.
Extra protection In the unlikely event of leakage, the media is easily visible on the outside of the heat exchanger. A hole in one of the double plates results in leakage between them. A gasket defect causes an external leak either directly from the peripheral gaskets or between the plates at the site of the failure.

Tap water heating
Lubricating oil cooling
Transformer oil cooling
Heating and Cooling of pharmaceuticals
