| Safety First – Series DWSeries DW from WTT provides extra protection against leaks and cross contamination. DW Double Wall heat exchangers consist of pairs of stainless steel plates instead of single plates.
Twice as strong, the DW series prevents cross contamination due to internal leaks caused by corrosion, thermal stress and pressure pulsations. Plus the space between the plate pairs is open to the atmosphere providing a vent. If a leak does occur the fluid will flow to the outside providing a visual indication. The WTT DW series meets the requirement for double wall-vented heat exchangers that are being adopted by more jurisdictions. DW series heat exchangers have a working pressure of 363 psi and are ideal for heat recovery applications on refrigeration systems.
